I haven’t had lessons for many years and it is clear that I had slipped into some bad habits. My lessons have helped me to improve my technique. The one negative is the location. My lessons take place at Fleet Street in a former strong room with no natural light and not very nice surroundings. I’ve also had a couple of lessons at Farringdon which took place in a very small room. The venues don’t match what is presented on the website- spacious rooms with grand pianos. I don’t feel the venues are good enough for the standard of teaching and learning that is expected. Overall, at this current time, I find the lessons rewarding and I am looking to continue with them.
