I have been attending tuition with Nat for several months now. I have to say that I am very pleased. I have a degree in music performance (drums) however I wanted to better my understanding of theory and harmony whilst learning the piano and bass. Nat was the perfect choice. His understanding of music is vast but in no way intimidating. Nat has various means to explain musical theories/concepts/ideas and technique. If I want to learn something specific then Nat will listen and develop a lesson around this. Otherwise he is happy to take the lead. Lessons are then written up in extensive notes (not every music teacher does this) and sent via email. I think Nat charges a very fair price for his services and overall I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their technical musicianship or better their theoretical understanding of music. A solid 5-out-of-5 from me!

Yukari is a fantastic teacher. She brings years of experience teaching and playing, but probably more importantly, real generosity and warmth. Im an adult beginner and I credit Yukari with the fact that I’m still playing – lessons with her are fun and challenging in just the right proportions, and make me see new sides of the instrument and my technique which then enrich my practice on my own. And it shows – after beginning lessons with her she coached me to an exam in which I got 99/100 marks, a better result than I ever thought I could expect.

I hadn’t played piano for years but was looking to pick it up again. I could’ve just started on my own but am really grateful to have sought a teacher. He immediately picked up on all my bad habits and we’re working on getting round them and putting down a really good base for my development. You can tell that Charlie is really passionate about music and its theory and his teaching skills are amazing! He’s friendly, incredibly patient, but he also pushes me and gives me a lot of motivation, so I can progress faster. Now I can play my favourite pieces like Moonlight Sonata at parties 😁

My son has been taught by Ed for a few years now and he’s patiently guided him to grade 5 practical and theory. They’re currently working on grade 6. Ed is a calm presence for a forever fidgeting teen! He keeps things fun and is happy and able to embrace any musical tangents my son shows interest in while keeping him on target for his grading goals. He will also be a great help when my son begins his GCSE music in the future. Nice chap, tick. Skilled, tick. Patient, tick! Fully recommended by us.
