Dave is an excellent music teacher. He’s been giving weekly lessons to my son on guitar and my daughter on piano for the past 8 months. He is a professional, patient teacher and a very skilled musician. Both my children have greatly improved their technique, including remedying bad habits accrued while learning from prior less attentive music teachers. I recommend him heartily for music lessons for children or adults.

Customer service is terrible! I have been emailing Workbox for over 2 months to try to organise some simple piano lessons and I’m still no further. I’ve emailed multiple times and rarely receive a response. I am consistently told my emails go to Junk but this doesn’t make sense if there is an existing email thread – and if it is so, I would expect my email address to be added so it wouldn’t keep going to Junk. I even received a new student offer by email from them recently, which I responded to, but I’m still waiting to hear back! Baffling.

Love it here! Our oldest son has been attending the Music Boutique for 7 years now taught by Roslyn who is just so lovely, welcoming, calm and patient! Our son’s love for music has grown because of the nurturing he’s received here! Our youngest son loves his sessions with Roslyn and looks forward to attending each week! Osho’s dedication to the Music Boutique is second to none and the work and passion he pours into the place is extraordinary! Would highly recommend lessons here. The museum is one of a kind and must be seen to be believed!

I have been having weekly lessons with Nicol for around ten weeks now, and I started as a complete beginner to acoustic guitar. Nicol has patiently and effectively taught me to play numerous songs that I have asked to learn, as well as incorporating useful and interesting musical theory into my lessons so that I am learning the ‘why’ at the same time as the ‘how’. Nicol’s musical knowledge is incredible, and her teaching style is so fun and patient, so I am learning a lot very quickly and I am inspired to keep practicing each week and working on what I have learned! Nicol has helped me to understand strumming patterns whilst singing at the same time as playing guitar, and the way she explains the techniques is enabling me to make great progress each week. I am enjoying my lessons with Nicol so much and I always look forward to our sessions! The logistics of booking and planning my lessons is also always efficient and simple. I have had piano lessons with Walter for over a decade. His teaching has transformed my piano playing and has helped me become confident in performing. He is an outstanding pianist and composer himself and has been the most inspiring teacher I have had. Lessons are always fun and challenging and I find that I not only learn about the technicalities of a piece in the hour but also get the opportunity to learn about musicianship, new composers and genres from Walter’s extensive knowledge and experience. Finally it is a great joy to play the Bankside Keys Yamaha grand piano which has a wonderful tone and character.

My daughter has just started here. Second week on. The first week here meet lovely and approachable ,friendly staffs Second week on same attitude. Please with the service. Environment clean and welcoming.

Yina is an amazing teacher, she’s professional and friendly. She’s well trained in both piano and opera singing, and teaches adults and children. Her studio is conveniently located in Central London, and you get to learn on a grand piano in a very nice setting. She teaches remotely as well. She hosts recitals for the students and she brings joy and success to all levels.

I am enjoying my weekly piano lessons with Arina. The lessons are challenging which is good and in particular my technique has considerably improved. I haven’t had lessons for many years and it is clear that I had slipped into some bad habits. My lessons have helped me to improve my technique. The one negative is the location. My lessons take place at Fleet Street in a former strong room with no natural light and not very nice surroundings. I’ve also had a couple of lessons at Farringdon which took place in a very small room. The venues don’t match what is presented on the website- spacious rooms with grand pianos. I don’t feel the venues are good enough for the standard of teaching and learning that is expected. Overall, at this current time, I find the lessons rewarding and I am looking to continue with them.
