Val has been teaching my son piano for the past several years, and I am convinced that the is one of the best piano teachers in LA. He has high expectations for his students and treats them with respect, and this really works. My son has made more progress than I ever imagined he could by this age. Val also incorporates theory and ear-training into his lessons, which is incredibly valuable for giving children a foundation for music as a lifelong pursuit. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Valery has been training my son to use his ear to play piano ( close his eyes when Val is playing then try to find notes on piano) Now my son can play piano with the right posture and with his feeling. We are so happy with Val and really appreciate him bringing music excitements to my little 5 year old son.
