Overall, it’s a good studio. I was taking lessons there for a short amount of time, but decided to discontinue because when I needed to get in touch with my vocal teacher or the front desk, it took them a week to get back to me and that’s after I left multiple emails and voicemails. A few months later I decided to give them another try, but when I tried to get in touch regarding their scholarship via email, the same thing happened, I never heard back from anyone.

I was excited to find the Suzuki Academy, because my son is 4 and many other music teachers will not begin lessons that young. But my son loves music so I knew we needed to start him as soon as possible. My son has been taking piano lessons from Sensei Kevin for about six months now. Sensei Kevin is great and is very patient, even when my son is having a less enthusiastic day. He never puts too much pressure on him and makes sure it’s fun. I can already see that the Suzuki Academy is instilling confidence in my son as he just performed for the first time at the spring recital. I was nervous because of the pandemic he hasn’t been around large crowds, and especially not focused on him, but he got up in front of everybody and performed. I am very proud and I’m excited to continue the process of him learning piano with Sensei Kevin.
