I have been looking for a jazz and contemporary music piano teacher for what feels like decades and by a stroke of good fortune was introduced to Marco. I am just three weeks in and feel I want to share my early experience while it is fresh. For a bit of context I am one of the many people who would have been encouraged to play the piano when I was young but as happens too often I was one of the majority who let it slide. I love music of all sorts but music learning was no fun. Endless classical lessons with strict attention to the detail of the written notes left me uninspired. I wanted to have fun playing the piano and I wanted to play my own interpretations. Marco has been a musician and teacher for a long time and comes to the keyboard (and more broadly music) with an enormous amount of experience. I met Marco for the first time with some trepidation after so many years of not playing and he immediately set me at ease. The process was going to involve pretty much unlearning all the boring stuff that was gathered somewhere in my brain (so anyone thinking of coming fresh to the piano won’t have to go through that bit!) and addressing music in an entirely different way through an understanding of the relationship between notes and chords. I am very much at the beginning of my adventure but I can say without hesitation that Marco has energised me in just three short weeks to believe that I can accomplish my goals and that is an incredible feeling. Because of the way that the approach to learning is structured it doesn’t matter whether you come to the keyboard with lots of previous experience or just a desire. Marco will make the lessons fun and I can pretty much guarantee that you will get more out of it than you expected. So looking forward to my next lesson – and truly that is something I have never said before!

Master Piano is the place where they nurture the kids to realise their musical dreams. I always felt my daughter luckiest to study here. All the teachers here are encouraging and passionate about music/instruments. The school also had amazing aural classes as well as popular music salons for performing. Yearly concerts are well organized and it’s the place for the kids to shine. My kids loved the school. Going to master piano is what they are looking forward to do during the weekend. I liked the teachers saying every child will be able to find their musical dreams if we were there to help them. That’s exactly my daughter felt. Thanks for all the help !

Dan is an incredible piano teacher! My two young boys have been with him for two years and they have come so far with their piano skills and knowledge. Dan has a wonderful rapport with the boys and always makes piano lessons fun, whilst also teaching them all the skills they need to know. I highly recommend Dan for anyone wanting to learn piano.

Julia is an amazing piano teacher! My son has been taking lessons with her, and it’s been such a great experience. Julia is super friendly and makes learning the piano really enjoyable. She’s patient and always encourages my son to do his best. He’s made so much progress, and we’re really thankful to have Julia as his teacher. She’s awesome!
